You should also have previous customer service experience, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and persistence.

The pay for a remote telemarketing job will depend on different factors, such as the company, prior experience, and the details of the job.

Some companies pay a base salary plus a commission percentage for each sale.

Things to Remember

Keep in mind, since telemarketing is a phone-based job, you’ll need to have a quiet home office or private area in which to work with no interruptions or distractions.

You’ll also need a desktop or laptop computer, a headset (preferably noise-canceling with a mute button), and a telephone unless otherwise stated in the job listing.
